Cameras began their travels on June 29, 2006, and journeyed from store to store and shore to shore. In September, David Wiesner selected the top three that interest and intrigue him.

Booksellers were asked to be creative, have fun, take a new look at the world through the viewfinder at anything at all. Pictures could be quirky or poignant, humorous or profound.
